Aurora Logo
Our 'sign guy' (who also designed the logo), "Erl's Signs", was away for the first few weeks after Aurora arrived, so we had to wait several weeks before he could come out and meet us at the boat, and discuss logo location and size. Once he returned the weather turned cold and wet, but there were a couple very short windows in the past few days where he was able to get it installed (or adhered??) The marina had a paint dock which was towed up and tied up to the side of each of the hulls, to allow him a safe platform to work from. ("safe" might be pushing it, as this paint dock was built on a couple ancient partially submerged logs, and had a pretty good tilt to it!) We weren't in town while he got them up, but we got over to the boat today for some systems training and got some photos in the brief glimpse of blue sky that popped out this morning.
Unfortunately, both A. and both I feel the logo should have been located on the bow, between the window and the tip of the bow. This was where I had originally thought it should go, but Andre had really wanted it to go in the middle. Erl also thought the middle, but as soon as we saw it we realized it should have been on the bow.
Also note the bimini enclosure is fully installed on the fly bridge, and around the aft salon if you look close. This will keep us cozy and dry in the cooler months.
